I love bubbles and this idea came to me one day as i was blowing bubbles and twirling. My inner child likes to play and i allow her to do so. Otherwise she gets cranky and bitchy! I wanted to create something to wear that had several different gemstones with healing properties that was pretty yet whimsical. Viola... my muse came through.

* One glass bottle filled with sea water collected on Mabon, 9/22/18 at Winter Island Salem MA. This water contains sand, sea shells and sea weed collected at the beach on Winter Island, Collins Cove and Derby Wharf in Salem MA. 

The bottle is sealed with a pentacle in red wax. Charged with Reiki.

Bottle is adorned with silver pentacle charm and semiprecious Amethyst. Amethyst is known as the magician's stone. Luna miso Poosie has claimed the sunny window ledge in my sun porch studio. I started feeding the birds right outside the window so the cats could have birdie tv all day. (They are indoor cats and are never allowed out!)

Nubi juan Kenobi prefers to nap on any surface i may need to use to work.  I dare not disturb him! 

When the sun is out the studio gets nice and toasty. Not sure how it will be during those cold winter months. May need a space heater or just surrender and work in the house. I will let the cats decide what is best!

October has been a crazy month here in Salem MA. Haunted Happenings celebrations, Halloween, Samhain, crowds, tourists and traffic. As much as i love the season, i am happy that it is now November and the Witch City has become a quiet little town again. The beach at Winter Island is peaceful and the only crowds are laughing sea gulls. Ahhhhh!

MDA of MA 30th MDA Witch Ride

For the past 7 years while living in Muggleville VA,  i have lamented that we could not watch the MDA Witch Ride in Salem MA. Always held on the same weekend in October this event is a must see. 

I am not sure why i love this event so much. It is noisy. Lots of show-off bikers and smoke. But... it is sooooo Salem. And it is for a good cause. The costumes are amazing. Though hard to capture any great photos of costumes and amazing bikes while they zip by at the speed of light. I believe there are over 200 bikers that participate to ride from Boston Harley-Davidson in Revere to Shetland Park in Salem MA.

And today... finally... after 7 long years we were able to be there once again to witness this amazing event. Oh Aunty Em... there is no place like being back in the Witch City!

Good Morning from the Witch City!

Nothing like a morning jaunt to Collins Cove for a whiff of the sea to wake me up. Love the sound of the laughing sea gulls and the lapping water. Such good therapy for the body, mind and soul. I am so grateful to be back in the Witch City!

I get some of my best inspiration for the jewelry and art i create from these walks. Maybe the sea faeries are helping me! Wouldn't it be great to have a mermaid costume and sit on the beach and wave to tourists?
