Another magical day at Winter Island!

I think this may be the image i would put on a Christmas Yule card... if i actually sent some this year. Today was a lovely day on Winter Island. Cold but not windy. Seagulls were friendly and the waves were lapping.

Spot of tea?

One of my new favorite places to haunt in Salem on a cold day is the Jolie Tea Company located right across the street from the infamous Hawthorne Hotel at 105 Essex Street.

A chic little shop filled with exotic teas, scones and all things Paris! Oh la la.

The staff is friendly and down to earth. And the wallpaper in the bathroom is mind-blowing...... bunnies and mushrooms. A must see!

They even have a line of astrological tea flavors. Just tried the Sagittarius blend and it was magical.

Thanks to sipping their teas on a Sunday afternoon, i came up with the idea to create magical tea infusers. Semiprecious stones, charms and faceted Czech glass.

Winter Island Magic!

Yesterday i celebrated my birthday by visiting my favorite Salem spot - Winter Island. It was cold and windy but so peaceful. Lots of sea shells, especially scallops found on Waikiki Beach. 

So nice to inhale sea air and clear my head. It has been a very strange year - for all of us on the planet. Hoping to start this new one in a new light - with hope, more love, compassion and of course magic! I am grateful to be back home.

One of my favorite places to walk to during spring & summer when we lived here before. Sitting on the rocks when the tide is out, watching the gulls laugh and listening to the sound of the waves lapping. It was too cold to walk today!

Love the little tide pools with sea creatures in the rocks.

Scallop shells found on the beach thanks to the Sea Faeries. Not sure what i will do with them. Maybe put them in a jar... or make a few Sea Witch Spirit Dolls? My inner child had so much fun walking on the beach looking for treasures.

Rockport MA Magic

Saturday we took a ride up the coast to Rockport MA, not too far from Salem so that i could deliver a batch of Healing Pet Amulets to a lovely shop Dark Star Philosophia.

If you are every visiting Rockport MA, this shop is a must see. Overlooking the water and filled with crystals, fairy treasures, books, Buddhist art and gorgeous jewelry. Gera the owner is a delight to meet and said they have been there for over 25 years. I am honored that my line of Healing Pet Amulets will be a part of that shop.

Most of the photos i took did not come out. I guess i will blame Mercury Retrograde! The Rockport Beach lives up to its name.... so rocky! And so cool. Kind of reminds me of the old Dark Shadows opening scenes. And the sea air is so therapeutic.

Santa arrived by boat yesterday in Rockport so parking was a challenge and it was crowded. However, it was worth the visit and we will go again soon. On the way up i saw three gorgeous blue herons... a magical omen to start the month of December.

Bewitching Yuletides in Salem MA!
